Concern in the two-time Chilean soccer champion. A member of the professional staff of Catholic University tested positive for covid-19 after a PCR test performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This was confirmed by the ‘crossed’ club itself, in a statement where did not reveal the name of the affected.
Specifically, the letter details that “in the PCR control carried out on the Universidad Católica delegation upon their return from Buenos Aires, the examination of a member of the campus was positive.”
The affected “was asymptomatic at the time of the test and is now in quarantine with his family.”
In addition, the letter maintains that “the case was evaluated with the head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the UC Christus Health Network and the health authority was informed, and we are awaiting their indications for a traceability study.”
