Through a statement, the ‘Celestial Dragons’ affirmed that “the first team underwent the usual sample of PCR tests, as required by the protocol before each match, obtaining from these shots two players with positive results, who were immediately isolated at home ”.

They added that “As a preventive measure it was decided to take an antigen test to all the rest of the professional staff, detecting an additional positive sample.”

The match was originally scheduled for 10:30 am this Sunday at the National Stadium, although now it must be rescheduled, as reported by the ANFP.

“The ANFP Medical Commission recommended suspending the matches between Universidad de Chile – Iquique and Unión La Calera – O’Higgins of the #CampeonatoPlanVital, due to positive cases of COVID-19 in Iquique and La Calera”, they assured from the ANFP.
