Council of the ANFP modified the bases of the Championship for international quotas

He Council of Presidents of the ANFP resolved this Tuesday modify the bases of the National Championship to define the quotas for Conmebol international tournaments, the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana.

Those classified from first to fourth place will play the Libertadores, while from fifth to eighth they will go to the South American.

This change occurs because the Chile 2020 Cup, which gave one of the quotas to Libertadores, will be played once this tournament is over.

Originally, the first three places of the National Championship got places for the Libertadores, and the fourth place was for the Chile Cup Champion.

But since the Cup was postponed and will be played once the Championship is over, the fourth place in the continental tournament will be for the one who finishes in fourth position in the table.

In the same way, the list is run in the South American and instead of being classified from fourth to seventh, now it will be from fifth to eighth.

For now, with the current table, the classifieds would be the following

Libertadores Cup

1. Catholic University
2. Union La Calera
3. Spanish Union
4. Sports Antofagasta

South American Cup

5. Curicó Unido
6. University of Chile
7. Palestinian
8. Huachipato
