A body was found this Saturday in the Chicureo sector, Colina commune.
As explained by the inspector of the PDI Metropolitan Homicide Brigade, Jorge Cifuentes, the body was found by a local worker in an irrigation canal.
“It was possible to establish in the external examination of the body that it had multiple stab wounds in the cervical and thorax area. We were able to establish that this fact would correspond to a crime of homicide, ”the detective explained.
Asked about the time of death, Cifuentes pointed out that “a date of 12 to 16 hours is handled.”
So far the body has not been identified, although it was established that it corresponds to a man between 25 and 35 years of age.
The Legal Medical Service (SML) arrived in the sector to remove the body, while the proceedings by the civil police continue.
