On Tuesday afternoon, the lifeless body of a woman was found in the northeastern sector of Calama.
Specifically, the discovery was made in the sector known as Green lemon.
Carabineros personnel arrived at the site of the event, specifically officials from the Police Investigation Section.
The above, with the aim of carrying out a thorough investigation, to verify -among other things- if the body found corresponds to that of a woman who has disappeared since mid-October, and whose family filed a complaint with both the Carabineros and the PDI.
The prosecutor on duty ordered that the IAPA Carabineros investigate the situation, while the body was sent to the Legal Medical Service.
