The governor of the Elqui province, Gonzalo Chacón, reported this Saturday, May 2, a new balance of the local situation of Covid-19.

According to the report, no new cases of people infected with Covid 19 were recorded in the last 24 hours. Thus, the figure remains at 78 cases of people affected with Covid-19 in the region.

As for the Sanitary Customs, the governor detailed that 1,103 vehicles were controlled this Thursday, and 40 were returned to their place of origin for presenting a red code in the sanitary passport. With this, a total of 103,709 vehicles have been registered since the start date of this barrier, with 1,151 vehicles returned throughout this period.

Finally, the regional authority confirmed: “Today we have 0 cases, given that the cut is made at 8 pm.
