The constitutional indictment against judge Silvana Donoso it would be practically rejected, after a large part of the senators advanced their vote against.

In this way, the Minister of Court of Appeals of Valparaíso she would be waiving an eventual sanction, after being constitutionally accused for notable abandonment of duties and for transgressing international treaties.

Until now, 19 senators have advanced their vote against regarding the two chapters of the accusatory libel, which was entered by the conditional release that was granted to Hugo Bustamante, the only one accused in the crime of Ámbar Cornejo.

They are joined by three other senators who were disqualified, which would not reach the 22 votes needed to approve this constitutional indictment.

However, the official result will be known this Wednesday when the formal vote is carried out, as confirmed by the President of the Upper House, Adriana Muñoz.
