Colo Colo reported that the SEREMI lifted the quarantine of the Cacique’s delegation who traveled to Brazil to play the match against Athletico Parananense for the Copa Libertadores, generating the consequent scandal and suspension of the duel of the albos against Antofagasta due to the positive case for coronavirus.
Through a statement, Colo Colo stated that “According to the epidemiological investigation carried out on the entire delegation that traveled to Brazil as a result of the finding of a positive case of Covi-19 in PCR carried out upon returning to Chile, the SEREMI has determined that there are no members of the group who meet the criteria close contact ”.
They added: “For this reason the SEREMI has lifted the quarantine that was maintained after the trip to Brazil, to the members of the delegation who have their negative PCR result dated September 25, 2020”.
The text states that “As part of our permanent testing protocol and the health care of our players and officials, the entire delegation that traveled to Brazil underwent a new PCR test today.”
Thus, Colo Colo can return to training this Monday before traveling to Uruguay for Tuesday’s match against Peñarol in Montevideo for the fifth date of Group 3 of the Copa Libertadores.
It should be remembered that Colo Colo returned from Brazil last Thursday and took the PRC exams only on Friday, which prevented him from training before the controversial match against Antofagasta. The Chief had requested from his arrival in the country the suspension of the match against Los Pumas.
