Gustavo Quinteros made clear his enormous desire to reach Colo Colo. Not only did he considerably lowered his financial pretensions and agreed to take the hot rod of directing a team in crisis, but he also traveled by car from Buenos Aires due to the lack of flights and everything to start his work as soon as possible.

The Argentine was dying to get to La Ruca, this challenge excites him and that’s why he put everything on his side. Now he hopes to reflect that motivation on the court, where the Albos need to win to start moving away from the bottom places.

But he does not get dizzy with the positive impact his trip had and he made it clear at a press conference. “It is not a sacrifice in any sense, directing Colo Colo is a pride for any coach, he is a great of America”he commented.

He humbly added that “I was happy to travel by land because there was no option to come by plane and I had a great time. We had to meet schedules in the Argentine provinces to pass, but we did it with great joy, because this is passion for us and any coach would do it to come to Colo Colo “.

When asked if he was advised not to come due to the difficult time that the Cacique is experiencing in all areas, Quinteros acknowledged that “There were people who told me not to come, that there were many problems, but I feel it differently, important challenges do not scare me”.

“I came to a big club that is not in a good time, but it has raw materials to get ahead. My family always supports what I think, they share that thought that I have. It is not the first time that I have to come to a place that is not doing well in terms of results and I have always been with the greatest confidence, my environment supports me and they value that I made this decision “added.
