Matías Zaldivia, Argentine defender of Colo Colo, suffered this Saturday in the training of the ‘Cacique’ the cut of the Achilles tendon of one of his heels.

A new misfortune for the Albo painting, which has been forgotten for a year.

To the problems between the leadership and the squad during the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the ‘Cacique’ has added an opaque performance in the National Championship and now this serious injury for the defender.

Remember that the 29-year-old player had to undergo surgery a year ago for a torn cruciate ligament in his left knee.

He had only returned to the courts on August 29 in the defeat of Colo Colo against Santiago Wanderers, in the resumption of activity after a five and a half month stoppage.

And before that, on February 2, 2017, the former Chacarita Juniors and Arsenal de Sarandí suffered the rupture of the cruciate ligament in his right knee in the duel against Botafogo for the Copa Libertadores that year.

Now, Zaldivia will have to undergo surgery again and would return at least in the middle of 2021 to the courts.
