Today, Saturday, September 26, at 9:00 am, the Ministry of Health, through the Undersecretary of the portfolio, Paula Daza, contacted the president of the ANFP, Pablo Milad, to determine the suspension of the match between Colo Colo and Sports Antofagasta.
The suspension is due to the detection of a positive case of COVID-19, without having yet been able to determine their close contacts, after conducting PCR tests on the entire delegation that traveled to Brazil.
The member of the Colo Colo delegation learned in Brazil that it was close contact with a positive person. Faced with this situation, the club’s medical staff consulted the Ministry of Health in Chile, who delivered a travel protocol that was carried out in accordance with current regulations.
In this way, and in line with the authorized protocols, the objective of detecting and isolating the corresponding cases is fulfilled, to protect the health of all the members of the club and those who participate in the activity.
