“Coffee with legs” did not comply with sanitary measures in La Cisterna: ten people detained

Ten people were detained after the police inspected a bar in the La Cisterna commune, detecting that it violated the sanitary measures corresponding to phase 2 of the Transition that governs the Metropolitan Region.

The event occurred during the night of this Monday, when staff of the 10th. La Cisterna Police Station attended a so-called “cafe with legs” called Beautiful Woman, located on Gran Avenida, and surprised the administrator, four waitresses, and five customers in violation of article 318 of the Penal Code.

Captain Daisy Ferrada, from the Southern Carabineros Prefecture, indicated that the police personnel verified that the premises “kept their licenses up to date, but did not have any terrace for the sale of alcoholic beverages.”

“Neither distancing nor masks”

“In addition, the people inside, four waitresses, five clients and the administrator, did not have any measure of social distancing or use of a mask,” he added.

The procedure was reported to the South Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office, which ordered that the administrator of the premises go to detention control, as well as a waitress who registers two other arrests for violating article 318, that is, for endangering public health .
