The Commission for the Financial Market (CMF) on Wednesday alerted investors that the firm called 2Invert It is not within the entities that the agency oversees.
Through a statement published on its website, the CMF clarified that “2Invest does not have authorization to provide securities brokerage services in Chile, according to Law No. 18,045.”
The agency recalled that on its website it has information where investors, policyholders and bank clients can verify whether a company or person that offers financial products or services is supervised by the CMF, review the alerts made by the CMF and other foreign regulators on entities or unregulated activities.
What is 2Invest?
According to its website, 2Invert it is “a brand operated by Aronex Corporation LTD., a company located in Seychelles, regulated by the Financial Service Authority (FSA) in Seychelles.”
It also ensures that “it provides investment opportunities to thousands of people in Latin America.”
It should be noted that the African country of Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 islands scattered throughout the Indian Ocean, is known worldwide for being a tax haven.
Precisely, in Spain and Brazil the company 2Invest was linked to pyramid scams.
Even in the Fourth Guarantee Court of Santiago, a complaint is processed against the company by a woman who accused of having lost 96 million pesos, according to Diario Financiero.
