Claudio Bravo made his debut in Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis team. The Chilean team’s goalkeeper entered from the start in the Andalusian team’s 3-2 victory over Granada, in a pre-season friendly.

One week before the 2020-21 season officially starts in Spain, Betis and Granada played a high-voltage friendly at the Municipal Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas in Marbella. The Verdiblancos closed their series of preparation matches winning with goals from Borja Iglesias, Marc Bartra and Juanmi.

As highlighted in Spain, in the first half the domain of the Pellegrini team was practically absolute. Granada hardly disturbed Claudio Bravo’s area with a couple of timid arrivals from Milla and Yangel.

However, the Granada stepped forward and began to do damage for Emerson’s gang. One of his arrivals ended with a past center, at the far post, which Víctor Díaz converted into a goal assist, taking advantage of the fact that Álex Moreno fell asleep, and that Montoro took advantage of anticipating Claudio Bravo to put the 1-1 on the scoreboard, being the first goal that the national goalkeeper has received since his return to Spanish football.

Behind this, the goalkeeper was replaced by Joel Robles at minute 65 ‘of the complement. Finally, Betis scored two more goals in the last minutes of the game thanks to Bartra and Juanmi, and Granada discounted at 90 ‘with a goal from Antoñín.

Thus, Betis thus closes its preseason with a full three victories and good feelings, before facing his league debut against Deportivo Alavés.
