The future of Reinaldo Rueda in command of the Chilean team Hang on a wire. This is clear from the revelation made by journalist Cristián Arcos on his Twitter account, where he reports that the ANFP analyzes the anticipated departure of the Colombian coach.

The Colombian coach arrived at the Chilean national team at the beginning of 2018, under the government of Arturo Salah in the AFNP, and had to deal first with the division between Claudio Bravo and the block led by Arturo Vidal and Gary Medel.
Later, the coach from Cali printed a strong restructuring at the level of calls, with the entry of a large number of replacement players. However, the results were not as expected.
Arturo Salah left his place in the ANFP and Sebastián Moreno appeared as a man of consensus. But their weak position against the clubs spread to the national team, which did not count as a priority in their preparation.

In the Copa América in Brazil, Rueda managed to hit two positive markers to advance to the final phase, where he eliminated Colombia on penalties. However, they then fell dramatically to Peru in the semifinals and could not revalidate the double continental crown.
The subsequent work was plagued with accidents. The social outbreak prevented Rueda from taking advantage of the last three months of last year and then the pandemic led the Chilean team to spend almost a year without meeting.
