Chilean soccer weighted table: Know the positions and who are descending in the 2020 National Tournament

It was one of the agreements that the ANFP reached with the clubs after suspending the National Championship 2020 and thus eliminate last season’s declines: a table of performance coefficients to define one of those who will go down to First B this year.

In summary There are three teams that will descend: the last in the 2020 tournament table, the last in the weighted table (the performance of 2019 and 2020 is taken) and a promotion duel between the penultimate of both tables.

Of course, to give greater validity to the year 2019 that was suspended, a higher percentage was given when taking the averages: 60% for 2019 and only 40% for 2020. That is why teams like University of Chile o Universidad de Concepción despite being well on track in the current table, in the weighted they are still complicated due to a bad last year. On the other side are the locations of the current tournament, where Colo Colo keep fighting not to descend.
