The Ministry of Health delivered a new update of the figures of vaccinated people in the country, with almost 140 thousand inoculated during this day, reaching a 47% of the target population.
This is the latest report published by the health authority, which confirmed the inoculation of 5,274,603 people in the country, until 6:00 p.m. today.
While 2,504,926 citizens completed the second dose, which represents 47.5% of the target population, which considers the priority groups defined in the vaccination schedule.
According to the data provided by the Department of Statistics and Health Information, this Wednesday until 6:00 p.m., 139,030 were immunized with the first dose and 202,902 with the second dose.
Finally, 2,799,779 people aged 60 years and over were reported to have participated in the campaign. Regarding gender, 58% of those inoculated correspond to women and 42.8% to men.
This Thursday, meanwhile, continues with the vaccination of people with chronic diseases and with severe and profound disabilities, between 22 and 29 years old, in addition to personnel from Onemi, Conaf, Firefighters and Gendarmerie, along with personnel from transport companies and collection of household and sanitary waste, manufacture of chemicals and pharmaceutical products, funeral homes and cemeteries.
