This Thursday the health authorities delivered a new balance on the advance of the coronavirus in the country, an opportunity where 7,023 new cases were reported.

To date, 2,416 people are hospitalized in Intensive Care Units (ICU), of which 2,069 are on mechanical ventilation support. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there are a total of 182 critical beds available for the patient who requires it, regardless of the region where they are.
Regarding patients in ICU – and as has been the trend of the last two weeks – a new peak was reached once again, reaching 2,416 internees and thus surpassing the record of this Wednesday.
Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, yesterday the results of 70,922 PCR tests were reported, reaching to date a total of 10,810,199 tests analyzed nationwide. The positivity for the last 24 hours at the country level is 9.60%.
In this regard, the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, explained that “only two regions decreased their cases in the last seven days and only three regions decreased their cases in the last 14 days.
