Chile adds four consecutive days exceeding 4 thousand infections by covid-19 | National

This Sunday, the Ministry of Health reported 4,208 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number to 825,625 and exceeding 4 thousand daily infections for the fourth consecutive day.

Of these new cases, 2,612 are symptomatic and 1,144 asymptomatic, with 24,106 remaining active and 780,530 being considered recovered.

Meanwhile, the total deaths amounted to 20,572 after adding 96 new fatalities.

Regarding the healthcare network, they reported that 1,654 patients remain hospitalized, and 1,422 of them are on mechanical ventilation, while 12,565 places are available in the 173 health residences distributed throughout the country.

On the other hand, to date a total of 9,366,844 PCR tests have been performed.
