This Sunday, Ministry of Health announced that seven communes in the country will go to the third phase of the “Step by step” plan for deconfinition.

Is about The Andes, San Felipe, San José de Maipo, The Counts, Providence, Ñuñoa and Vitacura, communes whose quarantine will be lifted for every day, since currently it only governs there on weekends.

It should be noted that these communes must continue with a curfew, customs and sanitary cordons. In addition, social activities can be held on any day of the week, with a maximum 50 people in open spaces.

On the other hand, a quarantine was announced for the communes of Santa Cruz, Chillán, Chillán Viejo and Hualqui, while Rengo will enter the “Transition” phase.

1) QUARANTINE

2) TRANSITION

The degree of confinement decreases and part of the activities can be resumed, but a sudden opening is avoided to minimize the risks of contagion:

  1. Travel is allowed from Monday to Friday, except during curfew hours.
  2. Physical distancing
  3. Use of a mandatory mask
  4. The quarantine is maintained on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
  5. Social and recreational gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people
  6. Events, social and recreational activities allowed with a maximum of 5 people in closed places (additional to those who live in the same residence) and 10 people in open places
  7. Customs and cordon compliance
  8. Prohibition of transfer to second home
  9. Sector restrictions:
  • Prohibition of the operation of Clubs and Day Centers for the Elderly

3) PREPARATION

Quarantine lifted for the general population. The biggest change with respect to the Transition stage is that it does not restrict the mobility of people on any day of the week, but maintains the sanitary restrictions:

  1. Displacement is allowed, except during curfew hours. You cannot go to quarantined communes.
  2. Physical distancing
  3. Use of a mandatory mask
  4. You can work in communes that are not in quarantine
  5. Social and recreational activities are allowed any day of the week with a maximum of 50 people, except for curfew.
  6. Restaurants and similar places can serve the public only in open spaces, with a minimum distance of 2 meters between tables or up to 25% capacity.
  7. Sports activities with a maximum of 5 people are allowed in closed spaces and 25 in open spaces.
  8. Customs and sanitary cordons are maintained
  9. Transfer to second homes is prohibited

Resume certain activities with a lower risk of contagion and minimizing crowds:

  2. Compliance with customs and sanitary cords (in force until the authority determines it)
  3. Physical distancing
  4. Use of a mandatory mask
  5. Travel allowed, except for curfew hours
  6. Prohibition of transfer to second home
  7. The operation of restaurants, theaters, cinemas and similar places is allowed, with a maximum attendance of 25% of their capacity
  8. Sector restrictions:

It is authorized to increase the number of people in activities allowed in the previous stage, always with self-care measures:

  1. Compliance with the touch remains (valid until the authority determines it) and physical distancing
  2. Compliance with customs and sanitary cords (in force until the authority determines it)
  3. Travel allowed, except for curfew hours
  4. Transfer to second home is allowed
  5. The following restrictions are established:
  • Prohibition of the operation of Clubs and Day Centers for the Elderly
  • Visits and exits from ELEAM Centers and SENAME Centers are allowed.
  • Ban on events of more than 150 people
  • Cinemas, theaters and similar venues with a maximum capacity of 75% are allowed
  • The operation of restaurants and cafes with public attention is allowed, with a maximum of 75% of their capacity
  • Pubs, discos and similar are allowed, with a maximum capacity of 50%
  • Gymnasiums open to the public are allowed, with a maximum capacity of 50%
  • Gradual return to face-to-face classes in educational establishments according to the planning of the Ministry of Education and conditioned on the health situation.
