This November 1, the Electoral Service (To serve) enabled the option to change the electoral address ahead of the elections of April 11, 2021.

On that date, Chileans will choose mayors and councilors in all the communes of the country. In addition, for the first time you can vote for regional governor.

To these elections is also added the vote to choose the members of the Constituent Convention, approved after the plebiscite of October 25.

As reported by the Servel, the procedure is enabled on the internet and can be carried out only with the Unique Key. Meanwhile, from Monday 2 it will also be available in person at the regional offices of Servel and other organizations such as Civil Registry and Chile Serves.

The deadline to carry out the procedure ends on November 21 of this year.

It is worth mentioning that this procedure is not mandatory and it should only be done by those who want to modify their polling place. Also note that this change does not apply to the primaries of mayors and governors November 29 next.
