A major of Carabineros shot back the theft of his bike during an assault that occurred during the recent dawn in Conchalí.
The situation occurred around 6:30 in the morning, when Major Felipe Cerda, commissioner of the 5th Police Station, he was heading to his work dressed in civilian clothes and on his bicycle.
In the middle of the journey, the policeman was approached by two individuals with a firearm, with the intention of stealing your vehicle.
Given this, the uniformed man made use of his private firearm to thwart the crime, wounding one of the assailants in the face, who was transferred to the San José Hospital where he was operated on. The other involved, meanwhile, fled the scene and it is unknown if he was injured.
