This Wednesday the death of the daughter of the Carabineros commander who died Sunday night in a traffic accident in Longaví, Maule region.

It was around 10 p.m. last Sunday, when the vehicle driven by the commander of the National Congress Guard Group, Ricardo Andrés Arriagada, hit a horse on Route 5 South.

The official died, while the eldest of his daughters, María Ignacia Arriagada Mora, an aspiring officer of the institution, he was seriously injured.

From that day on, the young woman was hospitalized for treatment and observation. However, despite the work of the medical team, his death was confirmed this Wednesday.

Through a statement, the Senate, along with delivering condolences to the family, indicated that the young woman’s remains will be transferred to Chillán this Wednesday.

This transfer will have to wait a bit since Arriagada was an organ donor. This means that a series of medical protocols must be carried out in the first instance and then the remains are delivered to the family.

Meanwhile, the commander’s wife and their two minor children ended up without serious injuries.
