Police personnel arrested some supporters of the “Approve” and acted with the water launcher in the sector. Some public transport bus routes had to be diverted.
During the afternoon of this Friday, Carabineros personnel intervened in the Plaza Baquedano sector in the face of some demonstrations carried out in the place by supporters of the “Approve”.
The uniformed men acted with the water launcher to disperse the people, and also made five arrests. The reason for the arrests would be to corrupt the sanitary measures ordered by the authority, considering that Santiago and Providencia are in a transition phase and, therefore, meetings that exceed the number of ten people are not allowed.
Preliminary information: Due to the disturbances to public order in Plaza Baquedano, personnel from the COP Prefecture made 5 arrests.

It should be noted that as a result of this situation, the public transport system of the Metropolitan Region underwent some modifications in terms of its routes through “preventive detours”.
