Carabinero repels theft of his bicycle with shots and a criminal ends up wounded in the face

Around 6.30 in the morning on Tuesday, a Carabineros major shot back the theft of his bicycle in Conchalí.

He Major Felipe Cerda, Commissioner of the 5th Police Station, was on his way to work as a franco, when He was approached by two subjects who intimidated him with two firearms to steal his bicycle.

In this way, the policeman used his private firearm to thwart the robbery, wounding one of the assailants in the face, who was transferred to the San José Hospital where he was operated on.

The other involved, meanwhile, fled the scene and it is unknown if he was injured.
