A Carabineros official shot back an attempted robbery against the fiscal vehicle used to transfer the Minister of Finance, Ignacio Briones.
The event, which is already being investigated by the PDI, occurred at a Copec service center located on one side of the North Coast, commune of Vitacura.
It was at around 7:45 on Monday that the mobile arrived at said service station, in the middle of its route to go find the secretary of state to your home.
There, one of Briones’s bodyguards got out of the fiscal vehicle, a moment that an individual took the opportunity to break a car window and try to get on this one.

This led to the escape of the assailant, who boarded a waiting car and left the place. But nevertheless, the individual was injured, so it was abandoned in the Agua del palo with Santa María sector.
After that, he was taken in an ambulance to German Clinic, where his death was confirmed.
Minister Briones he was not in the place.
