Deputy Pamela Jiles (PH), with 65%, leads citizen approval. This is at least reflected in a new version of the Cadem survey released tonight. The entity’s methodology was the interview of 706 people from 186 communes, with 95% confidence. The period covered was from November 11 to 13.
Already entering the results, when asked, regardless of his political position, whether or not he approves of the performance of this or that character, Jiles leads the approval with 65% of the preferences. The deputy has been one of the legislators who has promoted the second withdrawal of the Pension Fund, and has already announced the possibility of a third withdrawal.
Jiles is followed by the president of the Medical College, Izkia Siches, who had an approval of 63%, and by the mayor of Las Condes, Joaquín Lavín, with 49%.
Lavín, with 21%, leads the perception of who would be the next President. Lavín is followed by the Mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue with 9%, and by the Mayor of Providencia, Evelyn Matthei, with 4%.
The survey also reflected an increase in concern about becoming infected with Covid. On October 30, 49% responded that they were concerned, and in the current survey it was 60% who said they were afraid of being infected with Coronavirus.
41% approve the management of the authority against the Coronavirus, but only 16% approve the management of the Government in general. This is also reflected in the fact that 72% disapprove of the management of President Sebastián Piñera, while 80% believe that the country’s economy is currently stagnant. Even so, there was a slight increase from 42% to 45% in optimism regarding the future of the country.
