A Transantiago bus ended in the bed of the Mapocho river during the night of this Thursday after colliding with a private car in the Recoleta district.

The Second Lieutenant of Firefighters, Frame Stop, He pointed out that in collaboration with SAMU “they worked on the maneuvers to rescue both the bus driver and the driver of the private vehicle and give him the necessary first aid care.”
Because the driver of the machine was trapped, “maneuvers had to be used to remove him and, above all, to raise him from the riverbed to the level of public roads,” he added.
The injured were transferred to various healthcare centers, while the SIAT de Carabineros works to clarify the causes of this accident.
