Despite all the above, Briones assured that the next budget item will not bring reductions, although he did make it clear to his co-workers that the money to be allocated must be used wisely.

“We will maintain the fiscal impulse in 2021, which is also going to be an extraordinary year, where our fundamental challenge is to recover our jobs and economy ”, he stressed.

“Although the budget is not going to decrease, we have demands extraordinary events aimed at the recovery of employment and that focus forces us to prioritize our Budget ”, he added.

“It’s what any family that listens to us does: when conditions and scenarios change and are adverse they redirect their expenses and there is no reason why the State should not do the same ”, he closed.
