Claudio Bravo, goalkeeper for Real Betis and the Chilean national team, spoke about the role that sport should have in the new Constitution, although also made a reflection on the social gaps that must disappear in our country.
The national goalkeeper, on social networks, took advantage of a message from the Minister of Sport, Cecilia Pérez, to share his opinion, since the Secretary of State affirmed that athletes should participate as constituents.
“Sport is very important, but so are the tools we give to our young people. For example, the gap from a private school to a municipal one, or from one municipality to another in terms of facilities. That gap must disappear. We will have more athletes and better people“commented Bravo.

For his part, Pérez replied, noting that reducing these historical gaps “is a State mission that requires political will, unity and programs for children and young people.”
Pérez also invited Bravo to learn about the “Crecer en Movimiento” and “Promesas Chile” programs, which promote sports and detect future talents.
“I will always be here, and more if it is to help future generations”, the former captain of the Red closed the dialogue.
