Comedian Daniel Fica, better known as “Bombo Fica” was officially introduced as candidate for constituent by the conglomerate “Chile Digno, Verde y Soberano”.
The group, made up of the Communist parties, Social Green Regionalist Federation, Humanist Action and others of the command “I Approve Chile Digno”, released this Sunday the list of those who could eventually draft the new Constitution.
In addition to the renowned comedian, other figures of the show also stand out, such as the actors Bastián Bodenhöfer and Mauricio Pesutic. They also put in their ranks writer Jorge Baradit and lawyer Bárbara Sepúlveda.

Let’s remember that Fica had already indicated that he liked the idea of running for office. In conversation with The fourth, noted that “I like the idea, because I feel that it is a personal commitment of saying many things that one has in store to be able to transmit it with the appropriate seriousness. Imagine creating this new social pact where we have a Constitution that would be for everyone and for all Chileans ”.
Along the same lines, he expressed: “I want to represent the average Chilean, to the one who suffers with Transantiago, who has problems with the electricity bill because they charge excessive expenses. I want to understand from my social commitment, more than from the political one ”.
