Real Betis de Manuel Pellegrini and Claudio Bravo regretted a hard 3-0 loss to Real Sociedad, as a local at the “Benito Villamarín” Stadium, in a party marked by a new VAR scandal.
The “Albiverdes” regretted the wrong cancellation of a goal by Antonio Sanabria and the dismissal of a clear penalty, both actions at the start of the second half and when the match was only 1-0 against.
The Betis did not have a good game. In fact, in the first half they almost did not register goal arrivals and the visitors took the lead in the 43rd minute thanks to a timely appearance by Portu to beat Bravo.
In the second half came the controversies. First in the 49 ‘with an unfairly invalidated goal, since ehe forward Antonio Sanabria was not offside, as the match judge pointed out, and later in the 64 ‘with an obvious penalty not sanctioned, after the own Sanabria received a grab that broke his shirt. In exchange for that, the referee whistled an offense in attack for a slight contact.
😕😕 The controversy of the party. The goal disallowed to Sanabria for this action … https://t.co/xFB6sspBbd

All this notably demoralized the squad led by Pellegrini, who also regretted goals from Mikel Oyarzabal, from penalty (73 ‘) and Adnan Januzaj (87’), which ended the aspirations of the Sevillians in the meeting, which he regretted the second defeat by the same score in the tournament (before it had been against Getafe).
For worse, Betis next two dates will be against the powerful Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona, where you will need to redeem points so as not to get away from the privileged positions of the Spanish tournament.
