In his Twitter account, the Secretary of State stated that “violence, in any form, cannot be tolerated or relativized, because in that dark area is when the weakness and the collapse of the relationship between people begins. We all have to reject it forcefully, without nuances ”.
“We are a few days away from turning one year from 18-O and sadly we see that some want to relive acts of extreme violence after that date and we cannot let it happen. Politicians have to raise their voices and condemn it with real conviction. It is your obligation, ”he wrote.
Along these lines, he accused that different social and political actors do not criticize these events, warning that there is complicity on his part. The situation has been repeatedly criticized from the Government.
“Unfortunately, many relevant social actors have long been silent in the face of the hooded men, their destruction, vandalism and unacceptable slogans. That silence is complicity because they end up implicitly validating the routine of street violence, ”said Bellolio.

And he added that “neither can we tolerate cowards who feel like they own the street and destroy everything in their path. That is pure criminality. Against these cowards, we support the police and prosecutors to prosecute and investigate so that the judges can punish them with the utmost rigor ”.
