In the opinion of the PS bench, “human rights are universal and inalienable, in any situation and in any political regime.”
“For this reason, we do not hesitate to demand the immediate cessation of such serious crimes and the prosecution and punishment of those who committed them,” they say.
“We hope that this Report is a turning point in the serious situation in Venezuela and we call for an urgent solution to the serious political crisis behind these events through democratic dialogue, in which the people of Venezuela decide sovereignly its future, “they add in the statement.
Finally, from the PS they make a call that “the international community must cooperate in everything possible with this process and remain attentive to any foreign interference by force in that sister nation.”
