Australia reported no new coronavirus cases spread locally for the first time in five months.
In Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria, which had the highest number of cases in the country, residents enjoyed the first weekend of cafes, restaurants and bars on Sunday.
The city only has one mystery case with no known source of infection. There are 61 active cases in the state, of the 70 that were on Saturday.
