In the midst of critical days due to the cyberattack suffered during the weekend, BancoEstado issued an alert call through its official channels about a scam that circulates by mail.
Through its official channels, the state entity warned of a fraudulent email that is circulating. The call is to not consider any type of message that contains links.
“This fraudulent email is circulating. Remember, BancoEstado will never send you messages with links, whatever the medium,” BancoEstado warned, attaching an image of the email.
“If you receive one, it is a scam. Delete it and report the sender. This way you will protect your accounts and that of others,” said the financial institution.
