Attack in Angol: Evidence was found in two homes in Temucuicui

The regional head of the Investigative Police (PDI) of La Araucanía, Domingo Silva, provided details of the evidence recovered in a raid in Temucuicui, Ercilla, which allows to go on the trail of the perpetrators of the arson attack against 15 trucks of a company Angol forest, owned by Gerardo Cerda.

It should be noted that the police finding was highlighted by the Minister of the Interior, Víctor Pérez, who went to La Araucanía this morning to learn about the details of the police action on the ground and also to meet with businessman Gerardo Cerda, as well as with the family of worker Pedro Cabrera, murdered a few days ago in Collipulli, in another attack.

Regarding the investigative evidence found by the PDI, it is a white truck, a hundred ammunition, three weapons, two of them long, camouflage clothing, marijuana, cell phones and cash, for an amount of $ 7,106,000.

Silva explained that “the detectives carried out proceedings that were a resounding success today, with the recovery of one of the vehicles that participated in the attack on the trucks. We have it recovered together with numerous ballistic evidence, we have marijuana, cash, ammunition, which shows that it is well on its way to the location of the perpetrators of the arson attack ”.

The regional head of the PDI added that the raid was carried out “in two homes of Ercilla communities,” specifically in Temucuicui. “The residents were not there, they are houses that are used as safe houses to hide drugs,” Silva added.
