The Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, referred this Tuesday to the situation of the capital schools that suspended the face-to-face classes during March 1, after registering positive cases of covid-19.

Its about Luis Campino Institute of Humanities of the commune of Providencia and the Alto del Maipo College of the Isla de Maipo commune, which suspended their activities at least until March 15.

In this regard, the health authority indicated that “in schools where there have been positive cases prior to the beginning of the school year by students, immediately cases have been isolated and the Seremi de Salud is conducting the epidemiological investigation ”.

Daza added that in none of the enclosures was there contact between the positive cases of covid-19 and the children. In fact, both establishments assured that the infected officials they did not show up for work on March 1.
