The medical commission of the ANFP met this Wednesday with the Undersecretary of Health, Paula Daza, to deliver the protocol of return to practices, and after the appointment, Dr. Fernando Yáñez explained that, due to the situation in the country due to the coronavirus crisis, you cannot specify a date for the return of football.

“From the meeting, we have as a fundamental fact that the sanitary conditions of the country and the evolution of the pandemic do not allow a return to activity, we will keep in touch to see the most appropriate moment for the return to football, “he said.

Yáñez also stressed the ANFP’s commitment “to respect national health recommendations and the duty we feel to protect the health of all who participate in the activity, from the players to the public.”

Finally, the doctor indicated that at the meeting only the document on the return to training was delivered, which “will necessarily be complemented by a second and more important (protocol), which is the return of the competition.”
