The first game of the resumption of Chilean football after almost six months of recess due to the pandemic will be played today between Colo Colo and Waderers at the Monumental stadium, a few hours after triggering a new internal crisis of the ANFP, which in the last hours determined the departure of the chief of the arbitrators and the removal of several managers of the institution.

The president of the Referees Commission, Enrique Osses, was notified this Friday of his dismissal, which is now temporarily exercised by the former international judge and member of the Conmebol staff, Jorge Osorio.

The determination is part of the restructuring applied by President Pablo Milad a month after taking command of the association and which also implied the departure of the Marketing Manager, Pauline Agüero, from the Comptroller Isabel Díaz; the legal secretary Luis Varas and the Communications manager, Leopoldo Iturra.

Other adjustments are also foreseen in the different areas, according to the strategy designed for the new stage leads in the ANFP the former intent of the Maule Region.

The most controversial departure was that of the chief referee, Enrique Osses, who had been in office four years ago and had even led press conferences in recent days, reporting on the appointments of the judges and the application of the VAR in tournament matches.
