Nine years have passed since that fateful September 2, 2011, when a Chilean Air Force plane fell into the sea after trying to land on Robinson Crusoe Island in the Juan Fernández Archipelago. On board were 21 people, including the television host Felipe Camiroaga. This Friday a new photograph of his life was revealed with his co-worker, the journalist Karen doggenweiler.
The image was posted by German Valenzuela -which also appears in the capture-, who was a reporter for the morning Good morning to all, space in which Camiroaga worked until his tragic death. In the capture, the deceased entertainer would be on a work trip in the capital of Cuba.
This is added to another published by the same communicator who, after generating controversy, was downloaded from the social network Instagram. In it, Felipe is next to the iconic Gladys Marín, late leader of the Communist Party in Chile.
“More from my travels! Cuban night with Karen and Felipe ”, Valenzuela wrote next to the image, which already accumulates about 340 ‘likes’ and dozens of comments thanking the tribute.
Camiroaga appears making a funny face, dressed in a white shirt. Meanwhile, his companions smile in front of the camera. It is unknown who took the photograph.
Regarding the photography with Marín, Valenzuela later clarified that “since I am not the one who can represent Felipe’s political thought, I am obliged to download this photo.
This, he argued, “to avoid an incorrect interpretation of it (…) I apologize if someone was bothered by this photograph. Likewise, I will continue to publish memories that don’t hurt anyone. Loving hugs! “
Among the 21 deceased from the Juan Fernández accident was a TVN morning team, which also included the renowned journalist Robert Bruce. The FACh, the Levantemos Chile Challenge and the National Council for Culture and the Arts also lamented losses.
