According to what was reported by Radio Bío Bío, the 81-year-old victim she was hospitalized 22 days ago at the Claudio Vicuña Hospital in San Antonio since she was found in very poor condition.
The woman entered the health center malnourished, dehydrated and with some injuriesTherefore, the efforts of health personnel focused on reversing the physical and psychological damage.
It was at the beginning of September that, after a complaint to the Carabineros, troops went to the building where they were received by a nephew of the woman, who would be the person in charge of their care. He brought them in, and at that moment they realized that inside a cellar in the courtyard, the woman was locked up.
The woman was surrounded by her own feces, and even police officers evidenced that she was ingesting part of the mattress where she was lying.
The Family Court of Casablanca, instructed that the woman be in charge of who made the complaint. Meanwhile, the victim’s nephew was arrested and formalized for attempted murder, a figure that could change with the death of the older adult.
