An earthquake of slight magnitude was perceived during the night of this Sunday, January 3 in two regions of the north of our country.

Specifically, the telluric movement was perceptible in the regions of Arica and Tarapacá at 9:23 p.m., according to Onemi.

According to the report of National Seismological Center from the University of Chile, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.4 and the epicenter was located 46 kilometers south of the town of Camiña.

Onemi reported that no damage to infrastructure or people was reported as a result of the movement.
