A frustrated lockdown occurred on Monday morning in the connection between two urban highways in the capital, a fact that was known thanks to the recording made by from a third car.
The situation occurred at the junction from North Coast to the General Velásquez Central Highway.
In that place and in the middle of the speed decrease, a vehicle stopped and six individuals got out from it, among them a child.
The group began to intimidate the driver in front of them, who resisted the theft and then ran away from the assailants. The victim is a group commander of the Chilean Air Force.
Probably, the reason for his flight was to activate security systems that prevent the vehicle from starting again after being stopped, so that in the end his car was not stolen.
Everything was recorded from the car behind the victim.
As the theft was not consummated, there has been no formal complaint about what happened.
