The Valparaíso regional prosecutor’s office confirmed this afternoon the arrest of the mother of Ámbar Cornejo, a brutally murdered teenager in the Villa Alemana commune.
In this way, at the request of the Public Ministry, personnel from the Homicide Brigade of the PDI of Valparaíso arrested Denisse Llanos Lazcano, for his participation in the murder of the victim.
The Chief Prosecutor of Villa Alemana, María José Bowen, explained that the detention is due to the multiplicity of information collected during the investigation, where photographs, security cameras, scientific and planimetric reports, as well as versions of witnesses, account for their participation in the murder of Ámbar.
The woman is expected to go to detention control on Friday.
On Thursday, August 6, and after weeks of searching, police personnel confirmed the discovery of the teenager’s remains, which had been buried under the home of Hugo Bustamante, the victim’s stepfather and who until now was the only one detained for the brutal crime that shocked the country.
