Hugo Bustamante, the main suspect in the death of adolescent Ámbar Cornejo in Villa Alemana, performed from the High Security Prison a formal request to visit Denisse Llanos, the victim’s mother, who is also in detention for his possible participation in the crime of the minor.
As reported by 24Horas, Bustamante wrote a letter addressed to the head of the prison’s Gendarmerie Unit, which was sent to the Villa Alemana Guarantee Court.
“I come before your person to request a visit with my wife Denisse Llanos Lazcano who is being held in the San Miguel prison at this time, for which we have not had any contact ”, Bustamante says in the letter, made in handwritten form.
“I beg you to agree to my request. Thank you. Hugo Bustamante Pérez ”, concludes the letter.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, face-to-face visits are prohibited in the country’s prisons, so the requested “visit” was intended to be carried out through a digital platform.
However, according to 24Horas, The Gendarmerie reported that the request was finally denied by the court.
