Just over a year ago Alvaro Rudolphy he left Mega, after several years in productions of that channel. After a while, his arrival in the dramatic area of Channel 13 was confirmed, where he is currently preparing his first television series.
In conversation with La Tercera, the 56-year-old actor referred to the challenges that lie ahead in the former “angelito” station and told some details of his departure from the private channel.
Rudolphy’s debut in C13 will be in a late-night TV series that will probably premiere the second half of next year.
“It is the night that comes after Mabel’s Tower. It is a thriller, and the recordings are going from the first semester. The same now for the first semester so little is missing. There is not much more that can be counted. The production companies already have a reel in terms of protocols, care, sanitation (with La Torre de Mabel) so they took a mechanic and a dynamic that works to make these recordings productive, which is the most important thing, “he said.
“And it gives me confidence, I have spoken with some colleagues who are recording and at first it is a bit disconcerting but you get comfortable. And as I say, when you do soap operas, you adapt to everything, “he added.
Regarding his departure from Mega, at the end of 2019, the actor indicated that it was on good terms, ruling out that he had asked to terminate the contract due to a reduction in his salary.
“I have not done a very deep analysis because I do not think it deserves it either. I was in Mega, I did what I had to do, I completed a cycle. It is part of one’s evolution as a person and as an actor. It was a good experience and now I am here at Channel 13 ready to give everything I can, ”he said.
“It was a conversation we had inside the canal. I asked to leave and they let me out and that’s how things turned out. There were no conflicts or entanglements or anything, it was something quite civilized, with great respect, affection and understanding from both parties. It was just a change ”, he emphasized.
It should be noted that Rudolphy is preparing to release the first film that he directs and stars himself. It is a tape called, You lie, which was recorded in the middle of a social explosion.
