Agent Mole achieves historic Oscar nomination

Maite Alberdi’s praised documentary finally did it: it got a nomination for Best Documentary in the final announcements of the Academy that are being made at this time in the United States. In contrast, it did not make the final list for Best Foreign Film.

Collective, by Alexander Nanau (Romania), which tells the tragic story of the fire at the Colectiv Club nightclub, in Bucharest, 2015. In a macabre coincidence with what happened at the Cromagnon nightclub, in Argentina, it was an accident in which 65 young people died and dozens were injured. Such was its impact that it caused strong public protests that led the government to resign. The tragedy sparked public protests against corruption and the resignation of the government. As well, Crip fieldby Nicole Newnham and Jim LeBrecht (USA) dwhere the story of a particular summer camp is told for disabled teens, near Woodstock. Among the visitors is Judith Heumann, an activist for the fight for the rights of people with functional diversity. Available on Netflix.

It is the story of Craig Foster, who after having spent years of his life recording the most dangerous animals on the planet, saw his emotional and family life crumble. And finally, Timeby Garrett Bradley (USA.), in which the fight of a woman, Fox Rich, is shown so that her husband Rob can get out of jail, where he is serving a 60-year sentence for a crime they both committed. It is the struggle of a family to reunite. Available on Amazon Prime Video.
