Mega would have decided not to renew Patricia Maldonado’s contract, after years as the face of “Mucho Gusto”, a program that she joined in 2003.

As reported by Radio Bío Bío, the panelist’s contract runs until the end of this year.

According to the media, the channel made the decision not to renew Maldonado’s tenure, a fact of which she would already be aware.

It is worth mentioning that the singer has been off the Mega morning screen since October 2019, after the social outbreak.

Last May, Patricia Maldonado gave an interview to El Mercurio, where she pointed out that her departure from the program was a hard blow for her.

“At first I thought it was something transitory. Later I realized that it was not and that hurts … I was in the morning from the beginning, so it is as if a child was taken from you after you raised it,” he said on that occasion.
