The Association of AFPs ruled out being able to guarantee the second withdrawal of funds for December 17, as announced by President Sebastián Piñera.
It was during this afternoon that the general manager of the Asociación Gremial de Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones (AAFP), Fernando Larraín, in conversation with CNN Chile, rectified the deadlines announced by the Government regarding the first payment of the second withdrawal of funds.
Earlier it was President Sebastián Piñera, during the promulgation of the regulations, which stated that the process would begin on Monday, December 7 and the first payments would be available on the 17th.
However, Larraín ruled out that the administrators can guarantee that term, noting that, as the Law says, by calendar they can only guarantee that the amounts will be transferred 10 business days after the request, which means no later than the 22nd December (if request is made on 7).
